BNZ Bank Feeds
BNZ have not turned off support for SFTP (previous deadline provided to us was 31 December 2025). We are working with BNZ to confirm a date going forward and will post in community forum once BNZ advises us.
Bank Feeds
As part of our ongoing commitment to security best practices and responsible data, we are updating our data retention practice for historical transactional Bank Feed data. In line with best practice, we will move to keep only the most recent 2 years of Bank Feed transaction data within our delivery systems. Please note that this will NOT impact any data already in MYOB Acumatica.
Why this change is happening:
- Security best practice: Longterm retention of sensitive financial data increases risk. Reducing retention aligns us with industry security standards.
- No product dependency: Our products do not rely on Bank Feed transactional data older than 2 years. There is no functional impact to product performance or reporting. We have noted that there are limited occasional asks for this data, and going forward this will not be available.
- Bank is the source of truth: For any transactions older than 2 years, the bank remains the authoritative source. Businesses can continue to access historical statements directly from their bank.
What this means for customers:
- Customers will continue to have access to all Bank Feed data that is in their MYOB Acumatica site
- Historical data in our delivery systems older than 2 years will be permanently removed.
- In some rare or unknown edge cases, customers may expect access to older data. Going forward, they will need to obtain this from their bank if needed.
Timing:
This change will be effective as of 1 Feb.
2025.2 Release
Our 2025.2 release will be GA in March, with EAP running April and May, and upgrades occurring from the June upgrade windows. At the same time, the Payroll team is working through the changes required to support NZ and AU compliance. To juggle all these programmes of work, the following will be implemented:
- For sites that have AU Payroll, currently scheduled in May, these sites will automatically be enrolled in the 2025.2.1 EAP programme, and move to one of three (tentative) dates of 29th April, 5th and 7th May.
- For sites that have AU Payroll and are scheduled to upgrade prior to May, in June there will be an upgrade to take the planned compliance release 2025.1.5.
- For sites that have AU Payroll, and scheduled to upgrade in June, no action required as these will be taking the compliance release of 2025.1.5
- For any AU Payroll sites that do not have an upgrade to 2025.1.5 OR 2025.2.1 prior to July, please review and ensure they are allocated to the appropriate window to ensure they are operating with a compliant version.
In addition, there will be a separate AI Pilot on AI Studio running on 2025.2.
More details to come – including confirmation of EAP dates. Please keep an eye out on community forum.
If there’s any questions or concerns with above please reach out to Marie marie.webb@myob.com
2FA
I’m sure everyone is pleased for the respite from 2FA rollout, however don’t relax too much as in February we will continue with the rollout. The focus in Q1 is
- February – the cohort will be any payroll admins on sites that have 2024.2 or above and either slipped through the net last year or turned of Forbid Login with Password.
- March – the upgraders in February.
The rollout and communication plan will be the same as executed last year.

November
Our last round of enforcement of 2FA for 2025 is taking place on 11 December for those customers that were upgraded to 2025.2 in October. A final comms will go out 10 December. In order to get 100% of AU Payroll Admins across the line, and due to the success we’ve had to date, the ATO are allowing us a final run through in Q1 in order to maximise sites on newer versions with the best usability experience.
October
2FA Product Changes
With the release of 2025.1.200 we have made it mandatory for new, or when editing existing, payroll admins. Please ensure that you read the release notes for specifics. Platform: Changes to Two-factor Authentication (2FA) Enforcement for Payroll Users
2FA Enforcement
Our next round of enforcement of 2FA is taking place on 30th October for those customers that were upgraded to 2025.2 in August. A final comms will go out 29th October.
There will be two more runs in Q4 with a couple of changes:
- In November, as we’ve noticed some sites that have escaped the net and some payroll admins that have turned of the 2FA enforcement, we will be including all those sites and payroll admins into the November cohort.
- In December, we’ll be running with a compressed cycle so that it is run over a 2 week cycle instead of one month. This means that the dates for the customers that were upgraded in November will be
- notification on 3rd December
- final notice 10th December
- with enforcement on 11th December.
HubSpot Native Integration
As communicated on community forum: Acumatica NATIVE HubSpot Integration - Update | MYOB Community
HubSpot has announced an extension to their API deprecation, which now will not come into effect until 30 April 2026.
We are working with Acumatica to have fixes available for 2025R1 and beyond. We're expecting these early in Q1 2026, the format (e.g. a release or a customisation) is currently under review.
In the meantime, please ensure that all impacted sites will be upgraded to 2025R1 (or later) prior to 30 April 2026.
Performance Best Practice: Stay on Top of Automation Schedule Errors
Automation schedules are powerful — but when they fail, they can quietly impact site performance. Unresolved schedule errors, especially from email automations, can accumulate and lead to noticeable slowdowns over time.
To maintain optimal performance, we recommend partners:
✅ Regularly review automation schedules for errors
✅ Investigate and resolve any failed runs promptly
✅ Pay particular attention to email automation schedules, as these are a common source of degradation
📘 Learn more:
Proactive monitoring of these errors is a simple but effective way to help your customers maintain consistent performance and avoid unnecessary slowdowns.

2025R1 Developer Advisory
As part of the 2025 R1 release of the MYOB Acumatica ERP platform, the PX.Objects.AR.ARPrintInvoices graph has been removed('Removed Graphs' section in AcumaticaERP_2025R1_ReleaseNotes_for_Developers). This is a breaking change that affects both the core framework and any customisations that reference this graph.
MYOB has identified that this graph has not been removed, but rather renamed to: PX.Objects.AR.PrintARDocuments
To resolve these issues and ensure your customisation remains compatible with 2025 R1:
- Update all references to the old graph: Replace PX.Objects.AR.PrintARDocuments with PX.Objects.AR.ARPrintInvoices
- Rebuild & Republish After making the above updates, rebuild your project and republish the customisation package against a 2025 R1 site.
August
2FA Enforcement
For customers upgraded in July – their 2FA will be enforced through activation of Forbid Login with Password on 28 August.
For customers upgraded in August – they will receive an EDM from MYOB first week of September.

MFA Rollout for MYOB Acumatica Payroll
Starting July 1, we’re rolling out Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for MYOB Acumatica Payroll administrators in Australia to meet the ATO’s compliance deadline in November.
We’ll be enforcing MFA as part of the 2024.2 upgrade cycle. As customers are upgraded, they’ll receive a series of messages:
- First, a “Please turn on MFA” notice
- Then a reminder
- Followed by a final notice
- And finally, enforcement via script of MFA for that cohort
- This cycle will repeat for each upgrade window.
To ensure customers receive consistent messaging, we’ll communicate directly with your customers. All communications will be shared via the Community forum.
What you can do:
- Reinforce MFA messaging using your existing channels: newsletters, email updates, customer check-ins, or others.
- Encourage customers to enable MFA early to avoid disruption and have more control over the timing.
- Support your customers through the transition and reach out to us if you need help.
- Recommend your customers attend one of our 45-minute sessions, run weekly on a Tuesday from the 29th July 2025.
Session management and device locking
As part of our ongoing security enhancements, customers will now be required to lock their devices when not in use. This change supports stronger access controls and will be reflected in our updated product terms of use. We’ll include this in customer communications,
What you can do:
- Inform your customers about the new device locking requirement.
- Reinforce the importance of incorporating it into daily security habits.
- Direct them to upcoming communications for full details.
QBCC Retirement
Based upon the governments delay in the national roll out of we have conducted a review of functionality in our QBCC customisation and have identified more investment is required to meet customer expectations. So we have decided that MYOB will be retiring and removing support for the QBCC customisation. We are working with a partner to develop capability going forward, and will be in touch once we have these details. In the interim, if you have any questions please reach out to Marie.
Support Updates
Reminder: Submit quality cases to avoid rejection
As shared in April, all support case submissions must now meet the standards outlined in our Case Quality Scorecard. Submissions that don’t meet these requirements may be rejected.

May
Here’s a quick overview of the upcoming deployment windows and associated versions. Please review carefully, especially if you're considering rescheduling any site upgrades.
Deployment versions by month:
- April – 2024.114.202.2619
- May – 2024.114.300.3035
- June – 2024.114.300.3035
- July to October – 2024.2
- November – 2025.1
⚠️ Important considerations when rescheduling:
- Version Impact: Rescheduling a deployment to a later month means your site will receive the version available in that later window, not the version originally planned.
- Sandbox Versions: Sandboxes are not automatically upgraded to match the new target version if a deployment is rescheduled. You may need to request an upgrade to your sandbox.
- Version Jumps: Skipping earlier upgrades can create larger version jumps. For example, if a customer on 2023.1 skips the June window and moves to November (2025.1), a stepped upgrade is required. This adds complexity around:
-
- Integration & customisation compatibility
-
- Upgrade duration and planning
-
- Availability of upgrade windows
-
- Need for custom upgrade paths
If you have questions or would like to discuss rescheduling, please reach out early so we can help you assess the best path forward.

MFA Changes coming in the Autumn Release

There’s a number of important new enhancements across user security in the forthcoming MYOB Acumatica Autumn Release that result in a clearer login process, improved user onboarding and easier user security management.
Highlights include:
- We’ve renamed the purple button in the sign in screen to “Sign in with MYOB ID" - making it clearer to the user on the identity provider in use, and reducing user confusion
- Onboarding emails have also been revamped, where the URL within the body of the email which will navigate users to the appropriate method of sign in for that user
- You can force users to sign in with MFA by using a ‘Forbid Login with Password’ option for individual users or multiple users.
- From 2024.2 ‘Enforce Secure Authorisation’ is being removed with the introduction of ‘Forbid Login with Password’, resulting in MFA now available when logging into the MYOB mobile app.
- Customers that currently have ‘Enforce Secure Authorisation’ activated will have all users set to ‘Forbid Login with Password’ = true
- Customers that don't have ‘Enforce Secure Authorisation’ activated will have all ‘Forbid Login with Password’ option for individual users set to false
- Managing user security settings for multiple staff is now easier, with the new “External Identity Manager” role which is now available that provides full access to the External Identity Management screen and to help managers perform bulk onboarding of new users. If you’re an “External Identity Manager” then using the Associate External Identity button will send a link to the employee they can use to log into MYOB ID and associate their account.
To find out more about these changes and all other features available within the Autumn Release please join us at the next ITK session on the 30th April.
BNZ Bankfeeds: Moving to API from SFTP

BNZ have advised us that they are moving from paper-based onboarding to an electronic consent form and upgrading the transition relay.
It aligns processes with international best practices and emerging data regulations. It also enhances convenience (wider access to bank account/product information), security, compliance, auditability, accessibility, and greater customer control over data sharing. These added benefits increase trust and security between all parties.
MYOB Acumatica changes
We’ve made changes in MYOB Acumatica 2024.1.300 (and later) to allow for the updated requirements from BNZ for new Bankfeed applications.
Key dates
- Starting 1 July 2025, all new BNZ Bankfeeds applications must use the new API, requiring customers to be on at least version 2024.1.300.
- By 1 December 2025, all existing BNZ Bankfeeds must be migrated. Change management details will be communicated in Q3.
Click here for details on how this new method works.

Aligning on a New Process for Logging Performance Issues
As we continue to refine our processes and improve efficiency, we are introducing a new way to track and manage performance-related issues. Previously, performance issues were logged directly with the performance pod and handled through email, but to improve traceability and resolution times, all performance issues must now be logged via our support system.
Why the Change?
Managing performance issues through email created challenges in tracking, prioritizing, and resolving issues effectively. By moving to a structured support ticketing system, we can:
- Improve visibility and traceability of performance issues.
- Reduce resolution times by ensuring proper triaging and routing.
- Provide a more structured approach to troubleshooting and escalation.
How to Log a Performance Issue
To ensure that we can address performance concerns as quickly as possible, it is essential that all issues are logged with complete and detailed information. When submitting a ticket, please ensure you include:
- Details of the Issue – Provide a clear and concise description of the performance problem.
- Fixes Attempted – List any troubleshooting steps already taken to resolve the issue.
- Priority Screens Affected – Indicate the key screens or functionalities where the performance issue occurs.
- Best Practice Guide Compliance – Confirm that Best practice guide has been followed before submission.
What Happens Next?
Once a support ticket is logged, it will follow a structured resolution path:
- Support Agent Review & Triage – A support agent will validate the information provided and ensure all required details are included.
- Routing to a Performance Specialist – A performance specialist will analyze the issue and work towards identifying a resolution.
- Escalation to the Performance Squad (if needed) – If deeper technical investigation is required, the issue will be escalated to our dedicated Performance squad.
We appreciate your support and collaboration in making this transition smooth and efficient.

Two-Factor Authentication Rollout
As partners would have heard in the July Enterprise Partners: In the Know webinar, MYOB has launched a program of work and requirements around secure authentication to mitigate cyber-security related attacks on businesses.
A password alone is not enough to ensure your customers' data is protected. Within MYOB Acumatica there will be the requirement for users to employ multi-factor authentication when logging in, beginning with Payroll Admin and Employee Self-Service (ESS) Payroll users. This change ensures compliance with the latest guidelines and requirements set by the Australian Taxation Office for digital services platforms.
The deadline for Payroll Admin Users & ESS users to setup two-factor authentication is September 30, 2024. To assist Partners and Customers setup their users with 2FA on the MYOB Acumatica platform, we’ve published a range of help articles and setup guides on our help centers.
Customers that are affected by these changes will be contacted by MYOB (from Thursday August 1st 2024). A copy of the customer communication can be found on Frontify as well as a presentation deck outlining the project.

Employee Self Service (ESS) is a vital feature, especially for customers transitioning to the cloud. We've heard your feedback and are pleased to share an overview of the 2023 changes to improve the customer experience.

- A significant reduction in implementation time for single leave approver workflows.

ADAPT for seamless migrations: Your Shortcut to 40% Faster Implementation and 3 Extra Days!
MYOB has a number of customers who will be going through digital transformation to our cloud solutions. As part of their journey, they must go through the implementation of MYOB Advanced which is a foreign solution to them because it is not part of their day-to-day processes. As part of this implementation process, frequently they are asked to extract and sanitise data which will be brought in MYOB Advanced. A process that is technical and confusing!
Customers also believe that transitioning from one MYOB product to another should be a seamless experience. However, we know that the enterprise products are very flexible and used in multiple ways which can make the process of migrating data very challenging.
To support the customer in their transition journey we undertook the development of Adapt (Advanced Data Migration and Processing Tool) which is targeting a 40% reduction in the time taken for data migration and to ease the impact on customers by removing the need for doing manual data extracts.
ADAPT was released in April 2023 and most recently was used by BusinessHub. The feedback from BusinessHub after using adapt for 4 of their migrations is
- 60% Reduction of data migration time from 5 days to 2 days for small sites
- A 40% reduction in overall implementation time for a customer who has 120 employees and transitioned to MYOB Advanced Payroll +WFM+Bundy Clock
- Feedback from the consultant is that Adapt has straight forward sequential process to follow and the online help was pretty good. When he had an issue, he raised a support ticket and got a response to get him going.”
ADAPT will continue to expand to support other enterprise desktop products as the results are reflecting a huge benefit to our customers. Look out for the next release early November for enhancements to Exo Business Migrations.

Advanced Employee Onboarding
Advanced Employee Onboarding adds the powerful online onboarding workflow from MYOB Advanced Workforce Management to Advanced Payroll sites. This is an exciting opportunity for new and existing ANZ customers to streamline employee onboarding at no additional subscription cost.
How can you make the most of the opportunity for your business and your customers?
- First and easiest place to start: Include it in all your sales conversations with prospects. AEO connects another employee business process to the BMP. It’s a significant value add!
- Second is existing customers that are onboarding a lot of employees: Reminder that there are email campaigns that you can use to reach out to them.
- Third is in-flight customers: For customers that are still in implementation, it may be a good time to add in AEO to provide a more complete solution before go-live.
How to sign up a customer?
- Add “MYOB Advanced Payroll – Employee Onboarding Subscription” to the quotation. AEO T&C have been added in the quotation notes.
- Our Operations Team will provision AEO site and hand it back to your team.
Some tips from our experience so far:
- Use the resources available to you.
- For sellers on Frontify: Market play, talk track, product primer, email templates
- For customers: Academy course (AU and NZ) and Getting started guide.
- For services: Implementation guide to enable and configure new customers.
- If you have a time and materials implementation model, make sure that the task to setup AEO is included in estimations. It is much faster than WFM implementations. For reference, we add 2–3 hours for MYOB customers.
- To cut down on training time, we recommend that customers complete the AEO academy course before you handover the AEO site to them.
- For existing customers, set the right expectation up front. The WFM company does need to get processed through MYOB accounts and then get assigned to your team.

- ESS – Projected Leave Balances to be visible to managers (MSS role) – 27 votes
- Leave Balances to be visible to Mangers (MSS) – 14 votes

Our online Employee Self Service articles have been refreshed to make it easier for employees, managers, payroll administrators and implementers to find content useful to them.

Advanced
Since launching the Single sign-on feature we have identified an issue affecting sites using MYOB Advanced Payroll and Single sign-on using Microsoft Azure Active Directory
To ensure the smooth running of your payroll system, we strongly recommend that customers who use Advanced Payroll do not activate Azure AD. Doing so will result in an error when completing Pay runs. For more information please refer to the Advanced Known Issues section.
We are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible so that our MYOB Advanced Payroll customers can begin using the new feature.
Customers who are not using payroll can continue to utilise this feature. We also want to advise we now have available the bank feeds customisation enabling those customers who use bank feeds to take full advantage of Single Sign Azure AD. The Bankfeeds customisation is available for download from the Partner self-service Portal Product Versions > MYOB Advanced Downloads.
Learn more about this feature in our Integrating MYOB Advanced with Microsoft Azure Active directory article.

Advanced 2023 Platform Maintenance windows
The customer base for MYOB Advanced is rapidly expanding! As more Australian and New Zealand businesses reap the benefits of using MYOB Advanced, we are taking steps to make sure our infrastructure can handle the increasing demand. We have conducted a review of our current infrastructure and will be making necessary modifications to ensure optimal performance and availability for all customers as usage continues to grow.
This year, we are making significant changes to our platform infrastructure. We understand that these changes may cause disruptions for customers, and we will do everything in our power to minimize this. However, there may be maintenance periods throughout the year which could lead to outages on Advanced.
We understand that Advanced outages can be inconvenient and disruptive, so we always strive to give as much notice as possible. This includes announcements on the Partner community and in-product notifications to customer sites. Additionally, maintenance plans will be visible in the Partner self-service portal for easy reference.
February
Manufacturing
A New Manufacturing Automated Lot/Batch Expiry date customisation is now available in Partner Self-Service Portal.
Currently within MYOB Advanced Manufacturing Edition, it is a manual process to define lot/batch expiry dates at the end of production, leading to potential user error when defining important expiry information for finished goods with limited shelf life.
This customisation has been developed to deliver automation of lot/batch expiry dates at production completion by basing the calculation on new Shelf-Life Definitions (e.g. Days, Months, Years × User defined Multiplier value) to forward calculate the expiration date allowing for a streamlined, less error-prone workflow when producing goods with limited shelf life.
Importantly, it allows MYOB to offer an automated solution to small-to mid-sized batch manufacturers within the food & beverage sector, or other producers of goods with limited shelf life.
The why for Customers:
- Ensures more accuracy of important Use By/Expiry dates when producing or consuming items with a limited shelf life.
- Delivers automation resulting in a less error prone workflow and reduces the administrative burden on users
Partner Self-Service Portal
The Partner Self-Service Portal > Product Versions now has a new Manufacturing downloads tile containing manufacturing specific customizations, snapshots & demonstration scripts including the new Automated Lot/Batch Expiry date customisation. You can navigate to the tile from the Portal home page > Product versions > Manufacturing.

Introduction of paid family and domestic violence leave (FDVL)
The Australian Government has introduced paid family and domestic violence leave (FDVL) for all employees. This will take effect for employers with
- 15 or more employees on 1 February 2023, and
- less than 15 employees on 1 August 2023.
Online Help for Paid family and domestic violence leave - Australia is available to be shared with your customers. Customers must complete these steps to be compliant.
Customers will receive the guide via email to the primary site contact and in-app messaging to the payroll administrator.
We are seeking guidance from the relevant authorities about some issues that we think need to be clarified further. We will advise you if we receive further information that impacts this guide.
Early Adopter Program
We’re super excited to be kicking off an Early Adopter program at the end of Jan to precede the February general availability of Quality Management for Manufacturers and Wholesale Distributors using MYOB Advanced.
The solution, developed by eWorkplace Apps delivers an embedded experience for users and ensures thorough testing standards, material quarantine as well as delivering formal non-conformance corrective and preventative action workflows.
Quality Management supports and streamlines internal quality processes for customers within Food & Beverage, Chemicals/Pharmaceuticals, Medical & Life Sciences and Automotive component sectors. Importantly, it meets industry compliance requirements and provides automation and QA workflows that do not currently exist within the MYOB Advanced platform.
We’ll soon be embarking on various enablement initiatives ahead of the release of Quality Management, as well as a marketing campaign targeting the Food & Beverage sector; so look out for calendar invites and pre-release content coming soon!
For further information or to enroll customers within the Early Adopter program please reach out to bruce.minty@myob.com.
November
CADTalk
From early December, we will be releasing a campaign focusing on CADTalk, a strategic ISV partner that will address the needs of Engineer to Order businesses in the manufacturing industry.
There is a disconnect between data in ERP's and engineers using CAD applications. CADTalk closes the gap by leveraging artificial intelligence to transform the bill of material, routing, item, inventory, and other data from these engineering and CAD applications into manufacturing bills of material and routings inside MYOB Advanced Manufacturing.
CADTalk has the edge over other similar applications that simply map data between CAD and ERP platforms. This method lacks the sophisticated AI of CADTalk, which more effectively leverages ERP features like planning, scheduling and costing. Data flow between the platforms is bi-directional, ensuring that all areas of a business are using the most up to date data.
CADTalk is fully integrated with MYOB Advanced Manufacturing and will be offered under a referral agreement in ANZ. General Availability is scheduled for early December.
Keep an eye out for the campaign launch and please reach out to your CSM if you’d like additional details.
October
We are excited to announce that Advanced Payroll is now generally available in New Zealand. The GA release (2022.1.1) will be available in production sites from November onwards and is now the default for all new sites.

As we celebrate this milestone, we’d like to thank partners and customers that have adopted the product to date. The extended early adopters program (EAP) has helped us cover a vast range of real-world scenarios. Customer and implementation feedback has been key to reaching the GA milestone.

The tool currently assists to take master data to cloud. We are looking for AU/NZ businesses who have between 10-300 FTE. Businesses can have integrated or standalone payroll and don’t have very complex customizations.
We aren’t focusing on businesses with the following criteria:
- NZ businesses who follow legislated company shutdown process
- Businesses who have a majority of Time and Attendance employees
If you have customers who meet the brief above and would like to give the EAP a go ,please register your interest by emailing datamigrationfeedback@myob.com.

Exo Es to MYOB Advanced Payroll Data Migration Tool
Our teams have been very busy putting the final touches on the payroll data migration tool. We look forward to seeing you at the MYOB Enterprise Quarterly Product Showcase where I will talk about the tool.
We plan to have an EAP in July for this tool so if you are keen to be a part of the EAP and have customers who have signed up for payroll migrations drop us a message on datamigrationfeedback@myob.com.
MYOB Advanced Payroll for New Zealand
We are getting ready for the generally available release of Advanced Payroll in NZ in September. This version will be used for new sites from the start of Q4. Existing ERP sites that want to start using payroll will upgrade through their monthly cohort deployment cycle.
We have 20 customers live on Advanced Payroll in New Zealand and we look forward to growing this number significantly through channel sales. As with any new product, there will be some things that won’t be fully automated, so we’ll provide a qualification guide and roadmap for further changes. Keep an eye out on the community forum for more information.
April
MYOB Advanced Integration with Procore
Overview
MYOB Advanced Construction partner Procore have built a new integration tool with MYOB, after determining that developing, implementing, and supporting their own integration was the best way to support customers. This new integration will supersede the pre-existing MYOB connector.
The new integration went live on the 11th of April 2022 and will be implemented and supported by Procore. The MYOB connector will remain in use and be supported to the end of 2022, at which time support will be discontinued. Prospective customers should be made aware that the new Procore integration will be used, and the existing MYOB connector will no longer be available.
Note: In the new Procore integration, vendor insurance syncing is no longer supported and Invoice payments from Advanced to Procore have been added. Information about the new integration can be found here.
Customer Scenarios
Customers who have already implemented the MYOB connector:
- Customers who have already implemented the MYOB connector can continue to use it until they are ready to migrate over to the Procore integration. However, support will cease at the end of 2022 for the MYOB connector.
- When the customer chooses to migrate, they will also need to agree to the new pricing schedule as designed by Procore.
- Procore is undertaking a review of the existing MYOB connector users, assessing any required customisation work and will make required commercial and technical decisions with each customer.
Customers who are currently implementing the MYOB connector:
- If the customer is at the beginning of their implementation project, they will be moved over to the Procore integration if it has been determined that there is minimal risk to them doing so.
- If considerable progress has been made, or if significant customisation work has been completed, it may be determined that the best course of action is to continue implementing the MYOB connector. These decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.
- Procore have agreed to support customers who are well progressed with implementation of the MYOB connector, acknowledging customisation work and pricing arrangements.
Customers who are currently scoping:
- Any customer who has not begun the implementation process will be recommended to move over to the Procore integration.

March
We have a couple of updates to share regarding product readiness, the communication plan and enablement for the STP Phase 2 rollout.
Important to note: Given that this is a significant compliance change, we will be including partner clients in MYOB communications.
First a reminder of the Timeline
MYOB Advanced Payroll customers have until the end of August 2022 to transition to STP Phase 2. All MYOB Advanced Payroll clients will upgrade to the STP Phase 2 enabled version between March and June 2022. The upgrade won’t automatically switch to STP Phase 2 – the client will remain on the current version of STP until they complete their transition.
Product readiness
The pilot for STP Phase 2 commenced in Feb. We released 2021.1.403 this week to resolve issues reported by the pilot sites. We are in the process of upgrading the pilot sites and will confirm when your clients will be ready to start their migrations.
Communication Timeline for Clients
15 March – Awareness Email to all clients which covers What is STP? the August deadline for transitioning, Product Readiness and Resources. If they have a question or need support, they are referred to their partner. See community forum post for the content of the email.
Apr – Jun: After a site is upgraded, the payroll user will receive an in-app notification that they can proceed with the transition to STP Phase 2. This is a manual process, so won't necessarily be on the very next day.
May: ATO will send emails to all MYOB Enterprise customers regarding the August deadline.
End of July/August: Reminders using targeted in-app notifications to those customers that have not completed the transition to STP Phase 2.
We may need additional communication if we are concerned about the rate of transition.
Community Forum Communication
We strongly encourage partners and clients to transition to STP Phase 2 in the month that they upgrade, to allow enough time to plan and manage the migration across the entire MYOB Advanced Payroll community. To that end from April onwards, we will share on the community forum how many customers are on an STP Phase 2 enabled version and how many customers have migrated.
We will post examples of the in-app notifications, ATO email and reminders on the community forum closer to the time.
Enablement
We have prepared the following online enablement material which you can reference in your own communication.
- Training course for your clients and your payroll team on the MYOB Academy.
- Single Touch Payroll is the central point for Advanced Payroll Guides which consists of
- Online STP Phase 2 Hub that will have links to all the above. This should be ready by 17 March.
February
Advanced Payroll EAP for Single Touch Payroll Phase 2
Advanced Payroll successfully completed ATO testing for STP Phase 2 last year and early this year we received sign off from the ATO to proceed with client upgrades. We’ve been running a small EAP since the start of Feb to 1) ensure that transactions are sent seamlessly, 2) gather feedback on migration tools and 3) improve our enablement materials. The EAP is going well. 3 sites have successfully migrated, with a few more due by the end of February. We’ve made a few changes based on the feedback and this will be released as 2021.1.402 shortly, which will be the minimum required version for migrations.
Deployment timeline
From March onward, deployment cohorts will upgrade to an STP Phase 2 compliant version. An upgrade window is also scheduled for early March for the February cohort (only sites with Advanced Payroll), so that they can proceed with migration in March.
All sites will upgrade to an STP Phase 2 compatible version through their normal cohort as per the deployment plan. The last sites will upgrade in June and have until the end of July to complete the migration. We recommend that you support your clients to do the migration once they are on the correct version, to prevent large numbers migrating in July.
Next steps
You should start to get familiar with the migration process by working through Single Touch Payroll Phase 2 - MYOB Advanced - MYOB Help Centre, specifically Understanding STP Phase 2.
We will be in contact with more information about our communication plans.
Advanced Manufacturing
We want to make it easier for our partners to gain a comprehensive overview on any new product initiatives across all Enterprise products. So we’ve listened to recent feedback from partners and are excited to announce a series of quarterly Enterprise Showcase Sessions, the first kicking off on the 16th March 2022.
In these sessions, the Product team will showcase all features that have been delivered within the last quarter, outline what is planned to be delivered in the following quarter and areas we are focusing on in the mid-term. Importantly we want to be clear on delivery timeframes and how these roadmaps align with our overall product strategy so that partners have a more complete understanding of the context behind any development projects we undertake.
A detailed agenda will be provided shortly so that partners can plan ahead and attend specific product sessions of interest.

Shopify & BigCommerce Connectors
MYOB has made the decision to delay selling the Shopify & BigCommerce connectors and as such, will remove these from the price list. The initial provisioning of the Shopify connector was released to support existing Kensium Customers. However, with the shift of focus for Kensium, a solution was required to support existing customers.
Therefore, please note the following next steps underpinned by the removal of the Shopify & BigCommerce connector:
- Shopify & BigCommerce will be honoured for existing quotes or deals that are currently in-flight. Any Shopify & BigCommerce quotes will need to be entered into by the September 7th 2021. All orders entered will be honoured thereafter.
- All existing Kensium Customers will need to be updated to the Advanced Shopify integrator. A plan will be put in place to manage this process and will be published in due course to advise of this process.
- Updated price lists will be made available on the Frontify MYOB Partner Resource Centre.
- Shopify & Big Commerce will be made available for Q1'22. This is dependent on a number of enablement tasks required to support both solutions.
For any questions on the above, please contact your CSM directly.
