2025 MYOB Partner Connect & Discover Live Exhibitor and Sponsor Terms and Conditions

These are important terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before booking an exhibition/sponsorship. By booking an exhibition/sponsorship for MYOB Partner Connect and Discover Live 2025, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

In these Terms:

We, us, our means MYOB Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 13 086 760 198) .

You, your, yours means the individuals or business, and their employees, representatives and agents, for which the application is made and accepted to sponsor and/or exhibit at the Event. This would include, but is not limited to, sole traders, partnerships, companies and trusts.

Event means each of the 2025 MYOB Partner Connect and Discover Live conference and associated events, including dinners and other social events, provided by MYOB.

Bookings and payment

1. To book a sponsorship or exhibition stand, you must submit a request through our online portal. Acceptance of sponsorship and exhibition offers is at our discretion. We will consider requests for specific sponsorship or exhibition space; however, sponsorship or exhibition packages will be allocated at our discretion.
2. Upon receipt of booking request, we will confirm entitlements in writing and forward acknowledgement of receipt, together with a tax invoice. If payment is not received by the date specified on the tax invoice, the sponsorship/exhibition stand may be made available to other parties.
3. We reserve the right to change the exhibition floor layout if necessary, including varying the exact location of your stand.
4. You must not occupy allocated exhibition space until all monies owing are paid in full.

Obligations and Rights of Exhibitors

1. You must comply with our directions and requests, including all Event venue rules and regulations.
2. You must comply with all relevant laws in connection with your sponsorship or exhibition space. This includes, for example: respecting third party intellectual property rights and obtaining necessary permissions for any third party materials that you use or display; complying with health and safety requirements; and ensuring that your competitions, promotions and activities are in accordance with relevant laws.
3. You must not display any products or material that we determine, at our discretion, is offensive, disparaging, discriminatory or contrary to our interests. This includes, for example, prominent display of our competitor’s branding.
4. You must not bring in food or beverage from outside the Event venue, unless we give prior consent in writing.
5. You must keep your sponsorship or exhibition space clean and tidy.
6. You must occupy and (if applicable) staff your sponsorship or exhibition stand space for the duration of the Event. We will advise you of set up and pack-out times prior to the Event.
7. We may refuse without limitation to permit activity within the exhibition or may require cessation of particular activities at our discretion.
8. You are not permitted to assign, sublet or apportion the whole or any part of your package / exhibition stand, unless we give prior consent in writing.

Payment and Cancellation

1. Cancellation by you. If you wish to cancel your sponsorship/exhibit, you must submit the request in writing to enterprisepartners@myob.com. You agree that a partial refund will be provided by us if you cancel the exhibition/sponsorship as follows:
2. 12 weeks or more before the relevant Event – 50% refund.
3. 8-12 weeks before the relevant Event – 25% refund.
4. Less than 8 weeks before the relevant Event – No refund is available.
5. After bookings have been confirmed and accepted, a reduction of the sponsorship/exhibition package is considered a cancellation.
6. Cancellation, rescheduling or relocation by MYOB. We reserve the right to cancel, reschedule or relocate any particular Event. We will offer a refund if an Event is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated (and you cannot or do not wish to attend the rescheduled or relocated event). Unless required by law (including the Australian or New Zealand consumer law, as applicable), we assume no responsibility for, and will not be liable for travel costs or any other expenses incurred due to cancellation, rescheduling or relocation of an Event.
7. Cancellation by MYOB for your breach or misconduct. We may terminate these Terms, exclude you from the Event and retain any money paid by you under these Terms if you breach these Terms or if, during an Event, you act in manner that we deem as being detrimental to us, you or other Event attendees.
8. Force majeure. If the Event is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated due to any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control (including acts of God, fires, flood, landslide, earthquake, natural disaster, war, national emergency, terrorist acts, epidemics, riots, civil disturbance or governmental action), we assume no responsibility for, and will not be liable for any of your costs associated with the Event, nor will we be required to repay any fees received from you under these Terms.

Insurance and Liability

1. You must have Public Liability Insurance for the period of the exhibition and must be able to produce this documentation immediately at our request.
2. You will be solely responsible for the cost of remedying any damage that you cause to property or the venue.
3. You must indemnify and hold us harmless in respect of all damages, injuries, costs, claims, demands, expenses and interest for which we may become liable, to the extent that such damages are caused by or arise from the negligent, reckless or wrongful act of you or your representatives.
4. Neither us nor the venue can accept liability for any loss or damage to property sustained or occasioned from any cause whatsoever.

Marketing, promotion and privacy

1. We may list you on our webpage for the Event. Your participation and contact details may be shared with suppliers and contractors, and be included in the participant lists.
2. We may take photos or videos of the Event, including your sponsorship or exhibition stand. You agree that we can use such photos or video footage for promotional purposes in any media in perpetuity without any payment to you. You agree to ensure that the individuals staffing your sponsorship or exhibition stand have been informed of, and agree to, this term.
3. We may collect and use information about you and for the purpose of this transaction and hosting the Event.
