How to move to the latest version of AccountRight

As of 10 December 2025, you're no longer able to upgrade yourself using the Upgrade a company file feature in AccountRight. Instead, you'll need our help to upgrade.

To move to the latest version of AccountRight, follow the below steps: 

  1. Before you move

    Choose the right MYOB product and start your new subscription. Visit our product and pricing page for more information on your options and to compare product features, or contact us on 1300 793 427 (AU) or 0800 150 008 (NZ) for help in finding the right solution.

  2. Fill out the form

    Fill out the form below to request your MYOB AccountRight data migration. You’ll need the serial number for your new subscription – this will have been emailed to you as part of the purchasing process. We'll get back to you with instructions on how to send your file to us.

    Once we receive your file, we’ll check that it’s ready and send you a timeline so you’ll know what to expect. Files are typically transferred in as little as 3 business days.  

  3. We handle the move

    Our in-house experts take care of everything using our conversion tools and keep you updated along the way. You’ll be up and running in the new AccountRight in no time

  4. After the move

    Our AccountRight onboarding team will be in touch to help you finish your set up. 

Move from MYOB AccountRight Classic

We’ll upgrade your file to the latest version of MYOB AccountRight, bringing over all your data so you can continue working from where you left off - just enter your details below. You’ll need an MYOB AccountRight subscription to access this service. 

Please note if you’re moving to MYOB Business, you’ll need to complete the MYOB Business migration form.

When your file is migrated, we’ll send you instructions on what you’ll need to do next to complete your setup.
