In MYOB PayGlobal, pressing F1 provides a detailed breakdown of each field based on what you’re looking at. It’s a helpful resource to try before reaching out to support.
In 2025, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) will be introduced for Employee Self Service to enhance security compliance and protect sensitive information. This update aligns with Australian Taxation Office guidelines, mandating MFA to safeguard Personal Identifiable Information.
For Australian businesses that have not implemented Single Sign-On, adopting MFA is mandatory. This will include multiple verification methods; such as an authentication app or One-Time Passwords (OTP) via email.
As announced in March, our bank account information for future invoice payments has changed. To avoid payment disruptions, please update your records accordingly.
The Government’s draft PayDay superannuation legislation has been released for consultation by Treasury. MYOB will be making a submission to advocate on behalf of our customers and ensure the software they rely on is ready in time. We continue to work closely with Treasury, the ATO and relevant ministers to ensure the introduction of PayDay super runs smoothly.
End of Year preparation
Now is a great time to do some data hygiene in your database to ensure a smooth end-of-year. Here are some tasks you can do now:
- Check your STP manager tool for errors that may have been missed, as fixing them now could save you hustling at the end of the financial year
- Run balancing reports any time of the year to ensure you are not left fixing up issues at your busiest time of the year
- Keep an eye out for our tax upgrade packages coming soon
