Support for Stock Items with Serial or Lot Tracking in Field Service Appointments

Enables detailed asset tracking during service delivery – overcoming previous limitations to maintain accurate inventory records across the entire service lifecycle.

Feature summary

  • Automatic or manual generation of lot/serial numbers within the appointment, depending on tracking method selected.
  • Eliminates the need to pre-define lot/serial numbers before an item is used, which is crucial when the exact lot or serial number isn't known until the item is used in the field, such as during installation.

Improvements in Managing Project-specific Inventory

Enhances integration between project inventory and service management – improving traceability of serial and lot-tracked items across all service activities.

Feature summary

  • The Service Orders and Appointments forms have been enhanced to support projects where Track by Project Quantity and Cost is specified in the Inventory Tracking box on the Projects form.
