Same workflows - refreshed look

A modernised look while keeping the same layout. There's no change to how you work in AccountRight - the order and the placement of the buttons remain the same, so you can keep using the command centre like you always have.

Control who sees what information

Visibilty of the action tiles is based on each users permissions. For example, if a user only has standard Sales user permissions, they won't be able to see tiles on any other command centre screen.

How to get the update

You'll see the new command centre in AccountRight version 2025.4 if your company file is online. If you use an offline company file (that's stored on your computer, in a network, or you restore a backup locally), you'll see the "traditional" command centres without the handy shortcuts.

Your questions answered

Why are you making these changes?

These changes are a part of our ongoing investment in the AccountRight Desktop experience, and a key part of our product offering.

To ensure AccountRight continues to meet your requirements, we've made some updates to the command centre to modernise it and to make navigating easier.

Will my whole team be able to see every tile?

No, the visibility of the actions tiles is based on each users access rights. For example, if a user only has the standard Sales user permission role, they will not be able to see the tiles on the any other command centre screen. If that standard Sales user role has been customised further to not allow the user to View/Create customers then those tiles in the Sales Command Centre will also be disabled.

If you’re currently sharing log ins between team members and you’re concerned about staff seeing sensitive information – now’s the time to create separate user log ins. For help setting up new users and customising their permissions go to our support page.

I'm having display issues?

If your AccountRight online company file isn't displaying properly, make sure your Windows display settings are set to 100% or 125%. Changing display settings.

If you're still stuck, click the chat bubble below and ask MOCA, our virtual assistant, for help. If MOCA can't help, you'll be guided to our other support options, including live chat. You can also submit a support request to get help from our team.

Can I customise the 'Up Next' tile?

Not currently. We’re working on improvements and considering user feedback for future updates.

How are the figures in the 'Up Next' tiles calculated?

The tiles show the count for Overdue Invoices, Overdue Bills, and Unallocated transactions for the last 12 months. This is to keep the information relevant and to ensure fast loading performance.

Why do I see this change in only some files?

The new command centre is available where your company file is online.

If you use an offline company file (that's stored on your computer, in a network, or you restore a backup locally), you'll see the "traditional" command centres without the handy shortcuts.

Why are the changes not available when I take my file offline?

Certain features associated with the 'Up Next' and 'Quick Link' buttons relate to features only available Online, like the In Tray.

I don't see all the buttons that are shown in the preview?

The  buttons will only display if you have the correct permissions, or if there is a balance to show. For example, if you have no outstanding invoices, then the button will not show
