Frequently Asked Questions
Why are we making these changes?
We’ve listened to your feedback and we’re making MYOB Business more user-friendly and intuitive.
The switch to a left-hand vertical menu brings us into line with modern software, enables future features and plays well on mobile.
Meanwhile, we are doing away with outdated terminology and jargon in favour of more human language to open up the appeal of our product and make it more intuitive for everyone.
Can I revert back to the old menu and terminology?
No, the new changes will be brought in as a permanent change to the product. While change is something that may take time to get used to, we believe these are intuitive changes that help all users, and this has played out in product testing.
When will these changes come into effect?
The new terminology and navigation in the browser will launch to all customers on May 2 2024.
Has the new terminology been tested?
Yes! We’ve extensively tested our new interface and in-product language with both prospective and current users – accountants, bookkeepers and small business operators - and it’s proven to be intuitive for our wide range of users.
Where will I see the new menu and terminology changes?
This update has been optimised for the mobile experience, and the changes will be available on the MYOB Business and AccountRight browser.
Is there a guide available for the update?
See our online help page.
How do I get ready for this change?
The good news is that there's nothing you need to change or set up, these changes will be rolled out automatically.
