Draft Employees

Flexible employee onboarding - streamline hiring with the ability to create uncommitted employee records in MYOB Acumatica Workforce Management. When ready, simply promote the draft to start the onboarding process.

Feature summary

  • Organisations can prepare and manage the necessary onboarding documentation and workflows in advance.
  • Allow contracts and other dynamic documents to be sent prior to an employee actually onboarding.

Improved Rehire Workflow

Simplified employee rehire - easily reinstate former employees with a streamlined rehire process that reduces admin and automates Payroll reactivation - ideal for seasonal staff, intercompany moves, or returning employees.

Feature summary

  • If an employee is rehired within a certain time after termination (based on state and award rules), their previously accrued Long Service Leave will resume from where it left off.
  • Allows the Payroll ID for that employee to be reused so a new one isn't being created – important for those utilising seasonal workers.

Reverse a cash purchase document

This enhancement removes limitations from previous versions of MYOB Acumatica, streamlining the workflow for managing cash purchases and refunds.

Feature summary

  • Cash Purchase Processing: Previously, users had to void a cash purchase document to handle refunds, which was not ideal. The new feature allows users to create a "Cash Return" document, streamlining the process of handling refunds for cash purchases.
  • Refund and Rebate Processing: This feature enables the processing of refunds and rebates for cash purchases and expense receipts paid with a corporate credit card.
  • Document Management: Users can create a Cash Return document by selecting the new "Return" command available in the More menu of the Cash Purchases (AP304000) form. This command copies all details from the original transaction to the Cash Return document, simplifying the refund process.
  • Financial Reporting: The ability to reverse cash purchase documents without voiding them ensures more accurate financial reporting and reduces the complexity of managing financial records.
