Discover enhancements coming in the Spring Release
Feature summary
- Enhanced forecasting: Users can now include kits in sales forecasts, enabling more accurate demand planning.
- Kit Assembly creation: Allows users to create Kit Assemblies directly from the Inventory Planning display for efficient operations.
- Enhanced scheduling: A new “Requested On” date field in Kit Assembly automatically populates the item plan date, improving scheduling accuracy.
Enhancement
MRP enhancement: Inactive Warehouse
Improve demand planning accuracy with the ability to clear all Inventory Planning settings for Inactive Warehouse.
Feature summary
- Increased control over demand planning: A simple switch on the Warehouse record clears all Inventory Planning settings, effectively hiding the inactive warehouse from MRP.
- Accurat forecasting: Previously, MRP would still consider supply and demand for inactive warehouses, but now inactive warehouses can be excluded from MRP planning.
- Automatic settings update: When the Active check box is cleared, the Inventory Planning settings are automatically cleared and made read-only, ensuring accurate demand planning.
Enhancement
MRP enhancement: Add planning horizon
Optimise MRP generation with ‘planning horizons’ that allow you to define time-constrained data for inclusion in supply and demand calculations.
Feature summary
- Automated case assignments: Automatically route cases based on severity and SLAs, ensuring customers receive the support they need promptly.
- Improved case tracking: Gain visibility into case severity and resolution times, not just when cases are closed.
- Context through closure notes: Provide more detailed context to your team with case closure notes, enhancing team communication and understanding.

Reporting operations out of sequence
Flexibility for manufacturing workers to report production operations when they are run in parallel or in a non-sequential order.
Feature summary
-
Optimised production reporting: Introduces the "Automatic Backward Reporting" option, allowing non-sequential reporting of operations in production orders with multiple tasks.
-
Shortens cycle times: Helps workers avoid time-consuming logging of out-of-production orders, improving efficiency.
-
Adapted for shop floor conditions: Addresses environments without computers at work centers and supports simultaneous operations, like cutting left and right sleeves of a t-shirt.
-
Improve accuracy: Report operations in a non-sequential manner on production orders within MYOB Acumatica, eliminating the need to manually document production transactions.
Use cases
Report on production operations non-sequentially to enable simultaneous work on different parts of a product, improving productivity in environments with short cycle times.

MRP enhancement: Exclude return orders
Improve planning by excluding returns and other types of orders from inventory planning calculations.
Feature summary
-
Flexibility in inventory planning: A new Sales Order Type option allows users to decide whether expected return items should be considered valid supply in Inventory Planning.
-
Enhanced logic: Ensures that return items are not treated as supply until inspected, preventing damaged or defective items from affecting planning accuracy.
-
Improved inventory planning regeneration: The logic now follows the sales order type setting, including or excluding receipts from the supply calculation accordingly.
Use cases
Exclude return orders from inventory planning to accurately see available items and items pending inspection, helping prevent overestimation of available stock.
